The award-winning Northwest Nebraska High Country is a group comprised of local farmers and ranchers; offering lodging, hunting and outdoor recreation on their beautiful properties located in the scenic Pine Ridge area of northwest Nebraska.  Activities include camping, hiking, fossil hunting, game hunting, fishing, wildlife watching & photography, bed & breakfast, cabin rentals, horseback riding, guest ranches & working cattle ranch vacations, horse motels, cowboy cook-outs and our own Farmers Market!

One of our members offers tours of the area, as well as airport pick-up service.  All members are rurally located within and around the Nebraska Pine Ridge timber area.  Experience and enjoy the peacefulness of real country living, with some real country people - who will offer you a taste of the West; how it was, and how it still is.

Together, we have something for everybody.

We welcome you into our homes, families and hearts!

The Pine Ridge and its surrounding area has so much to offer.  It is often referred to as "The Last Frontier," and rightly so.

The Pine Ridge is a hidden treasure!   Area attractions include historic Fort Robinson, where Lakota Sioux Warrior, Crazy Horse, was killed; the Sidney-Deadwood Stage Coach route; and several public archeological digs.  The Black Hills of South Dakota along with the famous Mount Rushmore, are within a couple of hours drive.  Hire our qualified tour guide. so the entire family may enjoy this breath-taking atmosphere.

There are numerous places to camp and hike, and several members offer the privacy of their property to you for exploration and enjoyment.  Either pitch your own tent, stay in an original sheep wagon by yourself, or enjoy the luxury and pampering of a real country bed & breakfast in a beautiful setting.  You can also rent a ranch  and be on your own.  Ask about Cowboy Cook-outs and our Farmers Market for country fresh groceries.
